A few days ago, Dwyane Wade appeared on the popular show, “Today with Jenna and Friends”, where the two spoke about their lives and marriage.Dwyane Wade also spoke about how it was for his children to welcome Gabrielle Union into their lives.Dwyane Wade said, “When it’s you and you, like it’s great. And now you got to enter the kids into the relationship, and that was a little difficult because they were so young.”The NBA legend added, “My kids are so a part of my life, and I went through a very public custody battle with my kids as well…She didn’t sign up to be a stepmom necessarily when we first started dating. So it was a little rough early on.” While Gabrielle Union was also previously married, the popular Hollywood actress did not have children with her ex husband. So it seems like it was a completely new experience for Gabrielle Union when she started dating the NBA legend, Dwyane Wade, back in 2009.Mostly the relationship between Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union was mostly smooth, until they went through a painful time in 2013, which resulted in a short break up.When the two were on a break from each other, Dwyane Wade ended up fathering a child with his long time friend, Aja Metoyer.
